KidWind Challenge
Posted on 03/06/2020
The Eighth Grade Gifted students of PCS participated in a year-long sustainable project called the KidWind Challenge. During this project the students worked collaboratively to build wind turbines to explore renewable energy and sustainable engineering. During the Gifted Presentations, students presented about their projects to a panel, gave demonstrations of their completed wind turbine, and took questions from the audience. The final winners of this presentation will now go on to compete at the KidWind Regional Competition in Appomattox, VA in April.
