On September 4th, Ally Osborne finished in first place with a time of 13 minutes and 39 second which was also 11th best among forty nine middle school runners at Dan River High School yesterday where teams from CMS, GMS, DRMS and Appomattox competed. Jewel Williams finished in 8th place for DRMS.
The DRMS boys tied with Appomattox for first place with 36 points but unfortunately lost the tie breaker as Appomattox's sixth runner finished ahead of DRMS's runner by a mere two seconds. Top ten runners for DRMS were fourth place Charlie Jones with a time of 12 minutes and 47 seconds, 5th place Aiden Cook, 8th place Landon Leader, 9th place Jacob Lee and 10th place Jayden Alderson.
