The Wildcats celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month on Wednesday, September 23, with a special treat: churros for lunch!
The cafeteria was decorated to fit the theme, and all students received a free apple-filled churro. Cafeteria Manager Jancie Ingram and her staff cooked the churros to perfection!
Throughout the week, students also had the opportunity to answer a daily Hispanic Heritage-themed question announced over the intercom. The first student from each grade level to answer correctly received free ice cream, courtesy of PE Teacher Melanie Gilbert.
A fun and delicious celebration for our Dan River Middle Wildcats!
